19 July 2026 - Christmas In July
The inaugural Moore Park Beach Monthly Trivia event, “Christmas In July,” was a great success, raising $350 for our beneficiary of the month, Moore Park Beach State School. Many thanks to Narelle and Mr. T for their generous assistance in helping us set up for the night. A huge thank you also goes to all our players who came along and supported our very first event. The main aim of our trivia nights is to get together, have some fun and enjoy each other's company — and we're pretty sure you did just that!
24 July 2026 - Presentation to Moore Park Beach State School
A total of $350 was raised for the Moore Park Beach State School P&C. On Friday 24 July 2026, Gary and James presented the money to school principal, Mr Tony Franklin at the school who expressed his appreciation for the donation on behalf of the P&C.
15 August 2026 - Moore Park Beach Arts Festival
Our Quiz Master, Gary, and Timekeeper, James, receiving a very welcome grant from the Moore Park Beach Community Association at the Moore Park Beach Arts Festival. We are extremely grateful for this generous support and would like to sincerely thank the Association and all its committee members for supporting Moore Park Beach Monthly Trivia.
23 August 2026 - Licorice Allsorts
We were having such a great time on the night that we completely forgot to take photos while all the players were still in the building! But we did manage to capture the calm before the trivia storm. One of the biggest laughs of the evening came while checking the answer sheets. We asked, “What is a group of baboons called?” The correct answer was a troop — but the team on Table 3 had a much better suggestion: “THE MEN’S SHED!” 😂 Needless to say, that answer gave us a very good giggle and became one of those little moments that makes our trivia nights so much fun.
